
Today we are delighted to announce that HUE Animation Studio and the HUE HD Pro have both been shortlisted as finalists in the 2021 Teach Awards!
Run by The Teach Co, The Teach Awards highlight the very best resources for secondary, primary and early years teaching and learning, and provide a detailed picture of what supports teachers and schools in delivering the highest standards in education.

In the Teach Primary Awards, HUE Animation Studio has been shortlisted in the SEND category for resources designed to support the care and development of children with special educational needs.
HUE Animation Studio is a STEM.org approved, movie-making starter kit for children aged 7-13 containing everything young animators need to create stop motion and time-lapse videos including:
- A colorful, flexible HUE HD camera.
- A full-color, 64-page animation activity book.
- Digital resources, sound effects and example videos.
- A perpetual single-user license of HUE Animation software.
Recommended by child development expert, Dr. Amanda Gummer, the kit helps children develop a range of skills including; motor, social emotional and cognitive, ICT and creative.

In the Teach Secondary Awards, the HUE HD Pro has been selected as a finalist in the Technology category for “hardware, software, activity kits and online services that seek to support students’ learning of science, technology, engineering and maths”.
With its Full HD 1080p image and video resolution, the HUE HD Pro is a classroom camera compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS. It works in any apps that recognise a USB camera, including video conferencing tools such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Loom.
For those who need more tools, the camera includes a perpetual single-user license of the HUE Intuition software which can be installed on multiple computers: for use at school or at home for remote teaching.
The winners of the awards are set to be announced on 11th October 2021 and the full list of shortlisted products and resources can be viewed on the Teachwire website.
