HUE Animation Studio has been featured in the November 24th 2010 issue of The Sun:
The top ten “must have” list of Christmas toys contains the usual predictable suspects of noisy electrical items that will drive us all to mouth-frothing distraction by Boxing Day. So it gives me great pleasure to pass on a top tip for a gift that combines all parents’ desire for a return to old-fashioned toys with all kids’ desire to play on a computer.
Called Hue Animation Studio, it’s easy-to-use computer software that allows kids to make their own little Aardman-style movies using Plasticine models they have crafted themselves. They can then upload their efforts on to YouTube, via the Hue website, for all the world to see.
Me and my six-year-old spent ages dreaming up storylines, crafting the models required, then using the stop-motion animation software to make a little movie. We are already planning our next epic. It’s genius and cost just under £50 on Amazon.
And no, sadly I don’t have shares in it.
