The Global Warming Activity Guide aims to help teachers set up and manage a stop motion animation project about global warming and climate change. The guides have been designed to target students in Grades 3-7.
The free downloadable kit includes everything you need to get started in any classroom or after-school club, including: optional activities, resources, cut-and-color templates, a storyboard and an example of the final video including the text for the script.
Global warming is a key topic in schools around the world and media focus was on the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) talks. This activity guide aims to explain the key issues in a way that children can understand and in turn, communicate them to others.
The elements covered are:
- How global warming is caused
- The effects of global warming
- What we can do to minimise those effects
