US-based Customer Success Manager

About us

HUE is an international company manufacturing and selling USB document cameras and stop motion animation kits. Our target market is education but our products are also popular with consumers and businesses. HUE cameras are designed to be colorful, intuitive, fun to use and cost effective. Our products are sold worldwide directly from our webshop, via distributors and marketplaces such as Amazon and Etsy. We are based in Texas, the EU and the UK.

The HUE team is highly motivated, talented and creative and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us.

Our mission is to better understand the requirements of our US customers and we can only do this by direct contact. We’re looking for a Customer Success Manager who can communicate with, and understand the needs of, teachers and school districts. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing our US revenue by generating new business and managing product sales to our existing customer base.

About the role

  • Identify customer needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Respond to incoming enquiries
  • Research client accounts and generate sales leads
  • Work in collaboration with the HUE team to develop opportunities
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of our products and present them in a professional and compelling manner
  • Attend meetings, conferences, exhibitions and sales events in person
  • Report and provide feedback to the team

About you

  • Must have proven experience in the education sector (former teaching experience would be an asset)
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
  • Personable, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • IT literate, including knowledge of Slack, Trello, Google docs and sheets
  • Based in Texas but willing to travel throughout the US and abroad from time to time
  • Fluent English speaker (Spanish would be helpful)

Terms

Full-time or part-time, flexible working hours between Monday and Friday. Immediate start.

Compensation: The expected cash compensation for this position ranges from a basic of between $50,000 to $75,000 per year (full-time equivalent) based on previous experience plus an uncapped commission plan.
