Did you know that when you buy our HUE Animation software we include lots of free resources to help you start animating?

To access them, log in to My Account on the top right hand side of our page with the email address that you used to register your activation code and your password. If you need help logging in, please consult this FAQ or contact us.

Once logged in, go to Downloads > Other Downloads to access the free resources. These include:

1. HUE Book of Animation

The 64-page HUE Book of Animation is available as a PDF download in English, French, Spanish and German from your online account. The book includes step-by-step guides for many different animation techniques. It’s full of tips and ideas to make your animations more professional and give them that ‘wow’ factor!

2. HUE Animation Activity Pack

We provide printable backgrounds for your animations and they include a meadow, a beach and a space background to help you get started with your movie making. We regularly add new designs to the library and they are free to use so just print them out and get creative!

The pack also includes other printable activities such as a Phenakistoscope model for you to animate. As that word is entirely unpronounceable, and since this one has a rat theme going on, we’re calling ours a Ratoscope!

Last but not least, the animation pack also includes lots of free sound effects. Did you know that the HUE Animation software allows for two audio layers so you can add music or sound effects to your animation as well as your own voiceover?

3. HUE Activity Guides

These are step-by-step guides for teachers and educators who wish to use stop motion techniques in their class to explain a subject they are teaching. Animation can be applied in Science just as well as in Art classes; it’s a perfect tool for teaching and demonstrating understanding of various STEAM topics.
