Una prueba de HUE Estudio de Animación por Eugenia Romero, Maestra de Audición y Lenguaje

Eugenia Romero is an early years teacher ‘Maestra de Audición y Lenguaje’ from Mallorca teaching language and listening skills to the very young.  She loves creating material for her classroom using new technologies so we just had to ask her to review HUE Animation Studio  for our readers in Spain.

She creates material from scratch which she uses on a daily basis and has carefully built up an amazing resource which she gladly shares with other teachers via her blog, her online courses and her youtube channel. Her collection of sounds and spelling games, all designed to teach language and listening skills to young children is second to none.  We can´t wait to see what she might create using HUE Animation Studio!

Her material is great fun and covers everything from multi-sensory games and motor skills through learning about everyday sounds, vocabulary, phonetics, rhymes and syllables to memory games, the development of concentration levels as well as arts and crafts and cooking. We love her inspirational work!

Eugenia started her trial of HUE Animation with her 9 year old son who loves stop motion! She loved how light and portable the camera is and how easy to use. She especially liked the onion skin feature which allows you to go back to exactly where your object was placed in the previous frame so mistakes can easily be erased and off you go again.  Another feature she really loved is the integral microphone which means that you don´t have to use an external program to record the audio and yet another to edit the video.

So next she took HUE to school to use with a class of young children. Take a read of her review in Spanish of  HUE Animation Studio where you´ll find her very first animations made with a group of first years using IKEA tm alphabet biscuits to see how many different words they could make from a small set of  letters. The children had so much fun they wanted to stay in the classroom after the bell had been rung! One thing for sure is that Eugenia will have lots more brilliant ideas of how to use HUE Animation Studio in the kindergarten classroom. We can´t wait to see them.
