What if kids designed a school?
One person’s trash is another person’s iCreate movie
If you gave kids a card board box, egg cartons, paper towel rolls, construction paper, and some popsicle sticks, what would they make? Probably a static yet elaborate structure with the vague resemblance of a castle. Unfortunately, this probably was carefully constructed on the dining room table so the minute dinner comes around the life of that castle is short lived with the attack of the plates & silverware.
But, what if that castle — and even its personality — can live on? What if we could lower the cardboard drawbridge and capture that movement in realtime digitally? What if we could show mini knights bounding over the egg carton walls …played over and over and over? That’s what MyCreate – our upcoming iPad app will enable!
Bridging the digital with the physical world of play, we simply bring the inanimate world to life!
Here’s one of our favoriate examples of how we open up the digital space to the 3D world of play… our recent contest winner for ‘what happens in the toybox when you’re not looking?’ Looks like these dolls know how to DANCE!
We’re looking forward to seeing more animated play this summer as parents search for creative challenges for their kids. While anyone can easily use the SAM Animation software now, the MyCreate app will make it that much easier!
