Make 2014 The Year of Creativity!

Conseils pratiques partie 5 : La météo
We’re jet-setting with most of the edtech community this month and next with the back-to-back shows of BETT, FETC, and TCEA. While we won’t have our own “iCreate” booth per say… we are lucky enough to have partners in both the UK and here in the US that will be showcasing SAM Animation at all 3 shows.
BETT – Jan 22-24 – London
Our exclusive UK distributor – HUE Animation – will be showcasing their sleek camera, our software, the Klutz book, and our white-labeled Moshi Monster animation kit. We’ll have live demos in the booth, so come say hi if you’ll be in London too!
FETC – Florida Education Technology Conference – Jan 28-31 – Orlando
Our US distributor Kaplan Elementary will be showcasing their technology product line at Booth Number 310, including SAM Animation. In addition, I’ll be running a hands-on BYOD workshop on Thursday, the 30th. See workshop details below:
Title: Simple Creation Tools to Bridge to Common Core
Date: Thursday, January 30, 2014
Time: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Room: S330E
Computer Lab Type: PC (Attendees are always welcome to BYOD.)
Session Type: Workshop 2 hr. Hands-on
Program Description: How do we re-engage our digital native students in the real, hands-on world, while still leveraging technology? How do we ensure our students are understanding core content, while also given opportunities to be creative in the classroom? This workshop will introduce a simple creation-based app and software (bring your own computer or iPad) that was born out of university educational research to address both 21st century skills and bridge into common core.
All attendees at the workshop will receive a complimentary full software license or iPad app. Come join us and help spread the word!
TCEA – Feb 3-7 – Austin
We won’t have to travel far in February for the last of the three back-to-back edtech conferences. Kaplan will join us in our backyard and showcase SAM and other education technologies at Booth Number 2528. We’d welcome a visit!
Drop us a line if you’ll be at any of these conferences… running a workshop, looking for a demo, or just interested in sharing your creative work in the classroom with us!
