Disney’s Frankenweenie is bringing stop motion back – but can we make it larger than life?

Disney has come full circle with their latest release of Frankenweenie, a full-feature stop motion film that landed in theaters just this month. And while Tim Burton and his crew had very sophisticated equipment, lighting, software, props, studio – the works – for accomplishing such a task, we like to think that maybe, just maybe, Mr. Walt himself would be proud of what we’ve done with SAM Animation and myCreate today: A movie-making concept applied to learning… with an opportunity to even make it a family-fun activity.

That said, what about making stop motion truly a family fun event with the next Disney park attraction (listen up Imagineers): Imagine a giant – larger than life – stop motion set for everyone to play with – skating across lawns is a classic example, or how about the Old man and the Sea, that was released just a couple of years ago. How fun would this be to create in your next visit to a theme park?
