101 ways to use HUE as a visualiser: Art and Design
Introducing The HUE Book of Animation
We’re proud to announce that HUE Animation Studio has just received a major upgrade! As well as the HUE camera and our HUE Animation software, which have been sharing the magic of stop motion animation with families worldwide for some time, new kits will now include The HUE Book of Animation.
The HUE Book of Animation is based on The Klutz Book of Animation, an acclaimed animation activity book distributed by Scholastic. It’s a 64-page full color guide featuring step-by-step instructions for creating 20 hilarious stop motion videos, together with ideas for even more to help spark your imagination.
The book contains simple diagrams and instructions for all of its activities. Due to the complexity of some animation techniques we recommend that children under the age of seven are assisted by an adult in order to get the most out of the trickier projects.
To celebrate the book’s launch, we’ve enhanced our packaging with a brand new design. The back of the box folds out to transform it into a miniature stage for your first animation projects, and you can use the colored flap as a backdrop for simple green-screening (‘chroma key’). The HUE Animation software CD has also been upgraded to include sound effects and printable activities to accompany the book. In addition, the latest version of the software on the disc uses a streamlined activation process to help you get started even more quickly.
Already have HUE Animation Studio and just want the book on its own? It can be downloaded as an ebook for Kindle devices from Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, Amazon UK, Amazon Australia, Amazon Italy, Amazon France, Amazon Germany, Amazon Spain, Amazon Netherlands, Amazon Japan, Amazon India, Amazon Brazil and Amazon Mexico.
You can get a sneak peek at the videos which the book will teach you how to make by visiting our gallery now, or you can watch them directly on YouTube or Vimeo channels if preferred.
Lastly, we’d like to wish all of our blog visitors from the United States and Canada a wonderful Thanksgiving. Happy animating!
