2021 has been another rollercoaster year with highs, lows and loop-the-loops galore. With 2022 now firmly in sight, the team at HUE have taken some time to reflect and look back at our favorite experiences from the past year that have brought us joy, laughter and lightbulb moments.   

We had to buy a bigger trophy cabinet!

2021 was a bumper year for awards with both HUE Animation Studio and the HUE HD Pro camera receiving accolades from the Junior Design, Bett, Comenius Edumedia Awards and many, many more. The cherry on the cake was served in November this year when the good people at STEM.org officially approved the HUE HD Pro camera as a STEM.org Authenticated Education Product.

We made 40,000* friends on Instagram!

HUE popped up in the most unexpected places

The HUE HD Pro was spotted helping out in a laboratory, keeping supple doing some yoga and getting the party started in Spain on a projection mapping project. Our little HUE HD camera even joined a performance troupe in France helping to create the show Going Line by @compagniepulsart! 

HUE got all dressed up (even though there was nowhere to go!)

It is undeniable that HUE cameras have a lot of personality. With a chipper demeanor and adorable features HUE obviously needed some cute outfits to match. The costume trend is even catching on on social media, with more and more HUE ‘owners’ joining in the fun. Cosplay competition next year, anyone? 

The HUE HD Pro camera expanded its horizons

This year the HUE HD Pro was upgraded to Full HD 1080p resolution and shortened its minimum focus range to a jaw-dropping 1cm! As a result, the new and improved Pro is able to capture images with stunning clarity on the tiniest of objects, opening up the small world of fine detail for all to see.
