Looking for a fun summer project? We are sponsoring the BioArtAttack which is now open for entries until 22nd August 2014. BioArtAttack is an initiative which brings together art and science and individuals or groups of students, 18 years old and younger, are eligible to participate. Whether you are a teacher, a parent, or a young individual, we are inviting you to take part in this biology-themed competition.

Contestants are asked “to make a biology-themed art collage, model or sculpture and submit your project to the competition by taking time-lapsed videos, or a series of photographs to illustrate the process of the artwork being created.” More details on how to enter can be found on the Society of Biology website.

Winners from each category, under 11 yrs old, 11-18 yrs old and people’s choice, will receive one Hue Animation Studio along with a year’s free BioNet for eligible individuals.
