I first heard of the HUE document camera while at a Writing Workshop conference.  I was discussing with the other teachers that I thought a document camera would be so useful in my classroom when the students are sharing their writing.  I also told them that my school, which is a Title One school and is located in a very rural and impoverished area, had promised to get a document camera for my classroom but failed to find the funds.  This year my principal finally let me know that the school would not be able to purchase a document camera for the classroom. This inspired me to find another way to get the tools that my students so desperately needed.  It was just a blessing that I talked with these other teachers when I did because they told me about this great product, the HUE Pro camera.

I teach twenty-eight Second graders all by myself so I am always looking for new ways to keep my students engaged and excited about what they are learning.  We are currently using the HUE Pro Camera for several different purposes. As stated earlier, we use the document camera to display student writing so that they can share their work with their classmates.  I like to display students work anonymously and use it to show examples of strong writing skills. The students also love that we can read any book in our library together with the help of our amazing new document camera.  The students can even take turns reading a book or read along with me.

I would definitely recommend this product to any other teacher and, as a matter of fact, I have already recommended it to several of my coworkers.  The HUE Pro Camera is extremely easy to set up and use. I was able to install the software on to my computer and set up the document camera in less than thirty minutes.  All I had to do from that point is to get the document camera focused on the text we were reading and we were ready to go. All of the students thought that this product was new and thrilling so they were eager to use it! 

I am just so grateful, thankful, and blessed to have met and talked to all of the right people so that I could acquire and use the awesome HUE Pro Camera. Thank you for making my dreams and my students’ dreams come true!
