Guest post: Special Educator Ann Mitchell uses the HUE HD Pro camera for online reading teaching using Zoom

Hi Everyone! My name is Ann Mitchell. I am an online reading tutor and was recently shown the HUE camera by Joanne Kaminski, Online Tutor Business Coach.

A little bit about me, I am a mom to four grown children, a wife and a certified Special Educator in the United States. I have been tutoring elementary age children since 2013. I began as a face to face tutor but quickly realised how much time I spent driving from one place to another. Going from a student’s home to the library or even a coffee shop was getting hard on me as well as wear and tear on my vehicle. It has been just over two years now that I have chosen to become an online tutor.

The HUE HD Pro has been a game changer for my business. As shown in the photo I am able to share books using the camera so that my students can read without needing to purchase any extra materials.

In this video I share how I actually use the HUE HD Pro Camera with Zoom.

I currently tutor elementary level students who are struggling with reading across the United States. I always begin with an assessment and  have managed to help students become more confident and successful in their reading within 12 hours of 1:1 tutoring. Along with the HUE camera I am also developing a small group of elementary readers for busy families.

Have you ever heard of your teacher saying that you must read at least twenty minutes a night? My group will help those families. If you would like to join I have more information on my website, Castle Rock Online Reading Tutor.
