Sydney Bassard of The Listening SLP is a speech-language pathologist and private practice owner. Her clinical focus areas are working with children and adults experiencing hearing loss and reading disorders. Her goal is to provide high quality speech and language therapy to families via teletherapy. Sydney’s motto is “listen, learn, and advocate” alongside the individuals that she treats and their families. In her clinical practice, she has seen clients be just as successful virtually as in person. When most services switched to virtual, she was looking for a document camera to be able to share resources and activities with clients. HUE perfectly filled that need.

My HUE HD Pro camera has been a lifesaver with teletherapy and professional speaking engagements. When COVID first began, teletherapy was new for me. I had no idea how I was going to take the hands-on activities into the digital world.

The HUE HD Pro camera has allowed me to do that. I have been able to share books, crafts, and my whiteboard via virtual platforms. Using the camera allows me to still show my face while engaging the learner in the activity. 

I recently gave a professional development presentation on emergent literacy skills. The audience loved seeing the demonstrations live and how clear it was to see. I highly recommend the use of HUE cameras for professionals.
