Helena Kaill started her yoga journey on a beach in Goa, back in 2014. She subsequently travelled to Bali to continue her training where she learnt to “teach from her heart and connect with her students on a much deeper level working with the balance of soul and body, yin and yang.”
Helena has taught yoga in Melbourne, Australia and in the USA but is now delighted to be back in her spiritual West Country home of Bristol, UK. She teaches an array of classes, including yoga, barre and monthly moon circles through the online studio Wild Wolf’s Yoga and in-person at Wild Box Studio.
During the COVID-19 pandemic Helena ramped up her virtual studio and enhanced her teaching experience by switching from her integrated Mac webcam to using the award-winning HUE HD Pro USB camera and she hasn’t looked back since.
Helena explains in her own words why she loves using her HUE HD Pro camera in her online yoga lessons:
“I’m just really happy with my HUE HD Pro! Its 1080p camera quality has completely transformed the quality of my online classes and I can’t imagine teaching without it now. I absolutely loved using this camera. It’s just so easy and has everything I need. It has saved me from buying any additional equipment and is perfect for my teaching space. I didn’t realise how effortless the setup would be and I didn’t need to adjust anything during my classes, I just plugged it in and it was ready to go.
The integrated microphone has allowed my students to hear my cues so much more clearly now and it has also improved the quality of my voice overs on pre-recorded classes.
It has made such a difference to my virtual and hybrid classes. I was filming with my Mac before and I had to constantly adjust the screen or whenever I would do a standing pose it would cut off my head, so using the Pro has completely eliminated that problem for me – it captures my whole room and every position I take. I can move around freely and I don’t have to worry about any additional equipment or wires getting in the way.
The HUE Intuition software was an added bonus – I have been working on a home guide for my students and it was super easy to capture positions without needing to constantly leave my mat to click buttons on my Mac.”
