[EN] Awards: HUE Wins Two Best in Show Awards at ISTE 2016!
Follow Your Dreams is a national charity operating in England and Wales that inspires children and young people with learning disabilities to follow their dreams. Their vision is for children and young people with learning disabilities to recognise their potential, be ambitious and be provided with the opportunities to follow their dreams. The charity focuses on children’s abilities, growing and developing skills through the delivery of creative and interactive events, dreams and workshops.
Liz Whitaker, Workshops Manager at Follow Your Dreams says:
“Follow Your Dreams runs two Technology Clubs – these are youth clubs for children with disabilities to join and take part in activities that enable them to share their love for computers and gaming with other children in a safe, understanding environment.
Animation is something that many of our young members are really interested in and so we have been using HUE Animation Studio kits for several years to help them engage with and try out animation. This has proved a huge hit at our Technology clubs in particular, where the children are really keen on using different forms of ‘Tech’. We have run several animation sessions at our Tech Clubs using HUE Animation Studio Kits and the activity has helped us to provide a fun learning experience, helped to raise children’s self-esteem and sense of achievement, and helped our young members to make friends around a shared interest and activity.
We would like to say a huge thank you to HUE for donating these fantastic animation kits to us. As a small charity we often struggle to fund resources for our activities and so their support is very greatly appreciated by us and the families we work with.”

That’s brilliant, Tracey! If you get a kit please link us to your videos so that we can see the adventures of your town of penguins 🙂
