101 Things to DO this Summer to Stop the Summer Slide!
HUE gets to work with the most amazing teachers! Meet Kristen Poindexter, 15 year veteran kindergarten teacher at Spring Mill Elementary School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kristen has won numerous awards (2014 National Shell Science Teacher Award, 2012 & 2014 PAEMST State Finalist (Science), 2008 IPL Golden Apple Recipient, and is a STEM Mentor for the state of Indiana, where she leads the charge in inspiring future scientists and mathematicians.
Kristen recently shared a post with tips on using the HUE HD Pro document camera in tandem with the HUE tablet stand to teach a lesson on tadpoles! There is no doubt that Kristen’s students must love her! This is what she says about her video:
“I really liked from minute 6:11 onwards because we were able to watch (up-close) one of our tadpoles eating what was left of another. Totally gross, but my kids LOVED it and we were able to have a great talk about it.” Who wouldn’t love having Kristen as their teacher? This is one lesson the students won’t forget!
You’ll learn about the HUE tablet stand as well as the HUE HD Pro document camera AND you can watch the tadpole lesson. We can’t wait for the chicken eggs in Kristen’s classroom to hatch–Kristen is going to catch the action using the HUE HD Pro document camera! Stay tuned!
