SAM Back To School Tips

The first days of school are upon us. SAM Animation is a great tool for early assessments. Consider SAM for traditional first days of school reflection and anticipation activities. Use SAM to help your students express what they remember most about their previous learning experiences, their summer experiences and the learning experiences they look forward to in the new year.

What kinds of props do we suggest for such an activity? The traditional whiteboard approach works great but also consider using cut-outs from old magazines. Often school and town libraries clean out archives of old magazines. Or maybe you have some in your attic. They would make a great resource for props and backgrounds.
