Vietnam students animate the video game obsession
iCreate partners with Kaplan Early Learning to engage all learners
A teacher from the Buckeye Union School District reached out to us this week to share a fabulous story about a field trip she took her class on, inspired by iCreate’s SAM Animation software.
For any schools based in the Bay area, the Walt Disney Family Museum could be a fabulous field trip opportunity, as shared by our friends at Buckeye.
At the museum, kids are able to go into the studio to learn about animation and then they have an opportunity to make their own stop-motion video with the multiplane camera. For the Buckeye group, the tour guide/teacher was impressed with the ability of the students to create coherent stories in such a short amount of time, which was largely due to the kids’ experience with SAM Animation in the classroom. What a fabulous real-world hands-on application of our product!
The ability to pull together stories and communicate them in a compelling and coherent way is a powerful skillset to have. We as humans are drawn to stories, as they give us context to help us understand and believe certain things. If our young kids can learn early on how to compile and share a story, they will be much better off in future. We are so happy that our tool can actually help students craft these story-telling skills now!
