HUE is completely plug and play so it’s not necessary to install any camera drivers. Windows users can view and record the video stream using free software such as Windows 10’s ‘Camera’ app or AMCap, while Mac users can access the camera through QuickTime and Photo Booth.

If you’re using an older version of Windows and want to install the optional drivers for features such as digital zoom and interpolation, you can download the installation package here:

We recommend the standalone version of AMCap for Windows 10 users.

The camera is also compatible with our HUE Intuition software (sold separately) which is supported on Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10) and Mac OS X 10.6 and later.
